The Prospect Research Manager will support the fund-raising program at Wentworth Institute of Technology by managing the prospect research, prospect management, and moves management systems for the division of Institutional Advancement. The Manager is responsible for the overall coordination and production of information on prospects and donors to the Institute, for tracking cultivation and solicitation progress, and for prospect identification. The Manager works with all members of the Institutional Advancement staff, the President’s office, faculty, and administration.

Advertised Minimum Qualifications

• A college degree in a related field or equivalent experience, or a combination of academic study and experience.
• Experience in the philosophy and practice of philanthropy in the non-profit sector and demonstrated ability to work in the area of leadership gifts
• Ability to maintain and properly handle confidential or sensitive information.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and collegially as well as independently.
• Demonstrated written and oral English language skills.
• Computer literate in word processing and database management. Experience with fundraising software, preferably Millennium.

Advertised Preferred Qualifications

Demonstrated ability in prospect research, research analysis, and moves management within the context of Millennium.
• Preference will be given to candidates with experience in fundraising organizations, preferably for higher education
