Job Description Summary

Assist the department head and the associate department head in the administrative functions that support the department’s mission, its faculty and students in degree programs. The position requires strong organizational, verbal, written, interpersonal, and computer skills.

Fiscal Responsibility: Describe the type and scope of fiscal responsibility.

Authorized to order supplies with approval of Department Head

Minimum Education Required Associate's degree, or vocational or technical school degree
Preferred Education Bachelor's degree
Minimum Work Experience Required 3 - 5 years

Assist with creating schedule of courses for all department programs. Coordination of the adjuncts for scheduling courses.

Assist students when appropriate with scheduling needs as well as other student related administrative tasks. Be the resource for the faculty and students concerning institute and departmental administrative and academic policies and procedures.

Essential Function

Provide appropriate bookkeeping activities related to the annual operating budget of all purchases and requisitions. Prepare and submit appropriate paper work for faculty and staff reimbursements

Assist with the preparation, distribution and compilation of all course and program assessment surveys. Assist program coordinators with program assessment
