Job Description Summary

Responsible for the administrative function of the department that support the department’s mission, its faculty, staff and students. Additional responsibilities include working on special projects related to the college’s academic programs. The position requires strong organizational, verbal, written, interpersonal and computer skills.

Minimum Education Required Associate's degree, or vocational or technical school degree

Provide excellent customer service as the face of the CPCE office to students, staff, faculty and visitors to the college. Major responsibilities include but are not limited to working to triage visitors to the CPCE office and direct them to the appropriate person.

Working to finalize reports and assist directors with daily, weekly, and term- based reports such as faculty scheduling, room reservations, and teaching contracts. As well as handling office supply inventory and ordering.Making phone calls to confirm or follow up with contacts for events to include faculty, students, staff or guest.

Supervise and schedule work-study students and provide realistic work goals and evaluations. Ensure the professionalism of all students to include training, dress and timeliness in a professional work environment

Essential Function

Responsible for coordinating the planning and tracking of department activities such as meetings, catering orders for special events and room/meeting request.Working with admissions and other directors to support on and off-campus enrollment events and will be the point of contact for RSVP’s, etc.

Coordinate individual and CPCE expense reports for approval and signature by the dean. File office work orders, manage mail deliver, pick up, and distribution.
